EAST WENATCHEE, Wash. — One of the Pacific Northwest’s biggest short track events is set to take center stage on Saturday, May 30, as Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval hosts the richest one-day short track race in the West — the $25,000-to-win Plumb Perfect Wenatchee 200 Presented by GESA Credit Union.

Headlining the blockbuster event is NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick, who will make his highly anticipated return to the Pacific Northwest racing scene aboard the No. 29 entry. Harvick’s appearance has generated national attention for the East Wenatchee quarter-mile and has quickly turned the Wenatchee 200 into one of the premier short track events on the West Coast.

The Wenatchee 200 will feature a stacked field of regional champions, marquee winners, rising young stars, and veteran Northwest legends battling for one of the biggest purses in western Super Late Model racing.

“This event has truly turned into something special,” said WVSO General Manager Jeremy Anders. “To have Kevin Harvick racing here, combined with the depth of talent coming from across the Northwest and beyond, makes this one of the strongest fields we’ve ever assembled at Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval. Fans are going to witness an unforgettable night of racing.”

Among the headline names entered are defending Wenatchee 200 winner Owen Riddle of Naches, Washington, who has captured nearly every marquee Super Late Model race in the Northwest, including the Montana 200, Apple Cup, Fall Classic, and Summer Showdown.

Also entered is Quincy, Washington’s Kasey Kleyn, the reigning Northwest Super Late Model Series champion and Fall Classic winner, who recently signed a deal to begin NASCAR Truck Series competition.

Past Wenatchee 200 winner Kole Raz of Lake Oswego, Oregon returns looking to add another signature WVSO victory to his résumé after becoming one of the top young stars in Northwest Super Late Model racing.

Another former Wenatchee 200 winner, Evan Goetz of Okanogan, Washington, is also entered and looking to defend home turf against one of the deepest fields assembled in event history.

Fans will also see Bakersfield, California’s Tayler Mayhew, the current CARS Tour West points leader, who has quickly become one of the top contenders on the West Coast Super Late Model scene and enters Wenatchee carrying major momentum into the $25,000-to-win showdown.

Spokane’s Haeden Plybon returns to Wenatchee looking to add another signature victory to his résumé after earning multiple major wins at WVSO, including two Leonard Evans Memorial victories and a Northwest Super Late Model championship.

California standout Dylan Zampa has also officially entered the Wenatchee 200. The Napa, California driver has quickly become one of the rising stars of West Coast Super Late Model racing and adds even more firepower to an already loaded field.

The field also includes national and regional standouts from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, North Carolina, Montana, California, Colorado, and Arizona, showcasing the growing reach of the Wenatchee 200.
