Trevor Cristiani Captures Montana 200

RONAN, Montana (July 11, 2022) — Boise, Idaho late model driver Trevor Cristiani was dominant from start to finish as he emerged the winner of the 35th annual Montana 200, July 11 at the Mission Valley Super Oval.

Defending champion Zach Riehl earned the second spot on the podium and Tyler Emond third according to a Facebook post.

Cristiani, who collected a $15,000 first place check, started pole and lead almost every single lap of the race. His car had great speed and he was able to pace the race well and navigate lapped traffic. With a few minor adjustments at the halfway break, he was able to fine tune his car and looked near perfect for the second 100 laps.

Six drivers in the 21-car field finished all 197 laps on the 3/8ths-mile tri-oval, including Andrew Riehl and Dave Garber who were fourth and fifth respectively.

Cory Wolfe, the 1994 Montana 200 winner, finished 14th with 189 laps.

While Cristiani has numerous wins in a variety of series, this was his first in the Northwest’s four most notable races which also include the Apple Cup and Fall Classic in Tri Cities and Idaho 200 at Stateline.
