PORTLAND — The Washington Auto Racing Promoters Association (WARPA) Marie Easley Dedication Award was given to longtime racing enthusiast and volunteer Jeanne Bartle at the group’s yearly awards banquet in Portland, Nov. 22.
The award honors a dedication to the motorsports world or race tracks in the Northwest.
“WARPA gives it out whenever they decide someone deserves it,” Bartle wrote in Facebook Messenger. “It’s named after a woman who passed away from cancer.”
Bartle can be found working race days at Stateline Speedway.
