Former Indy Racing League competitor Davey Hamilton Sr. drove to be a top qualifying spot (11.532 seconds) and the 30-lap Speed Tour Modified feature race, Aug. 21 at Stateline Speedway. A pair of Spokane drivers, Frankie Volz Jr. and TJ Sneva were second and third respectively.
Other main event winners in the multi-class show were Colin Newton (West Kelowna, BC) in CAMRA; Rusty Webb (Spokane Valley) in Hobby Stocks; Cameron Davis (Spokane) in V-6 Claimers; KC Garber (Spokane) Fever 4’s and Luke Warner (Spokane) in Roadruners.
