NORTHPORT — With the Crown Creek Fire a threat to the town of Northport, racing officials cancelled racing at Northport International Raceway and with it the September 6, Luke Powers Race for Autism.
A specific date to rerun the event has not been determined but it could be Sept. 20.
As of Sept. 7 the Crown Creek Fire had burned some 13,000 acres just south of the town.
