TOWN OF ROSALIA REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

Town Attorney. The Town of Rosalia is seeking applications from qualified attorneys to serve as Town Attorney. The Town is seeking an individual who can provide legal advice regarding new & existing municipal ordinances & represent the Town’s best interests in court, including the enforcement of municipal ordinances. Applicants are requested to submit a proposed fee schedule that includes: a monthly retainer rate for routine monthly duties; an hourly rate for services outside the scope of contracted monthly duties. The Town anticipates requiring approximately 15 hours of legal services per month, including legal advice & document review. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both document review & courtroom representation. The attorney must be able to follow clear direction from the client (Town of Rosalia) & provide clear, concise legal guidance in return. Hourly & retainer rates will be reviewed & compared among applicants. Only attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Washington are eligible to apply.
